If you own a dog (especially one that is over 20 pounds) proper training is an absolute must.  A properly trained dog can be your best friend, bring you unlimited joy and even save your life.

A poorly trained dog however can cause you all sorts of pain - from costly vet bills to chewed furniture, to constant barking to even worse - aggression and biting.
#1 'Sit Stay Fetch'

'Sit Stay Fetch' covers every basic dog problem you could encounter including how to:

'Sit Stay Fetch' also includes one free email consultation with the author so you can get individualized help for your specific dog issue.

The ebook gives you step-by-step written instructions as well as over 100 dog training photos so you get a visual picture of what to do.

'Sit Stay Fetch' is our number one choice for the best dog training book.  This comprehensive resource covers more training information than you'd probably get in THREE dog training classes.

For $37 it's less than 2 bags of dog food and considerably less than even one puppy training class. Plus, we also like the fact that you get several bonus gifts including 'Dog Grooming Made Easy', 'Tips on How To Security Train Your Dog' and 'All the House Training Methods and Tips'.

Considering all of this we think that 'Sit Stay Fetch' is absolutely the best value for your money. 5 Stars.

#2 'Dog Training Zone'

'Dog Training Zone' is another resource that is provides simple, easy to use instructions to train your dog. The focus is on getting you fast results with your dog.  For example you'll learn:

And lots more.  The author, Charlie Lafave, clearly knows his stuff and loves his dogs. 'Dog Training Zone' really focuses on helping you to understand your dog, and train him/her based on his/her own unique personality.

While 'Dog Training Zone' doesn't offer the illustrations or the email consultation that 'Sit Stay Fetch' does, it is still one of the best values out there.  At $39.97 it is also extremely reasonable considering you'd probably pay over $500 to learn this information from a professional dog trainer. 4 Stars.

#3 'Secrets Of A Professional Dog Trainer'

'Secrets of a Professional Dog Trainer' has actually been around longer than the other 2 above and does offer some great comprehensive training information. You can learn how to:

'Secrets of a Professional Dog Trainer' also offers several bonus gifts including a free email consultation with the author.  However it isn't necessarily recommended for first time dog owners as the information is a bit jumbled.

At a price of $49.97 it is the highest priced resource however again, still cheaper than even one puppy training class, and some people may prefer this author's style. 3 Stars.
